the Traveling Gnome

For our new challenge at Creative Fingers we are lucky to have two sponsors, Conie Fong and Fabrika Fantasy who gave us lovely digis to work with ♥
The fun little gnome from Fabrika is on his way to many fantastic adventures I'm sure, but first he's making an appearance in my art journal :)
We're on summer schedule still, so it's a four week long challenge, and you are very welcome to join! #114. We always have 'Anything Goes' as a theme :)

By the way, it's been very quiet on my blog this summer, and it was not intended! I actually had three posts in drafts, and totally forgot to make them go live.. One which is a fabulous blogcandy too! I will have to change 'em up, and post later on, but soon-ish :)

My art journaling spread have gotten a keepsake pocket, and I've made sure everyone knows who's book it is with some dymo-tape. The shiny golden stuff everywhere on my pages is the amazing box with gilding wax you see here on youtube called Inka Gold! I simply LOVE the stuff! ♥ I always use my finger to apply the wax, but not directly from the pot .. or there will be a moldy surprise next time u open it! ;)
The pocket got a little window with an embossed acetate, and above it you can see one of my doodle flower digis. The stenciled tim holtz flower has even more gilding, Indigo Blu flitterglu and Winter Dawn gilding flakes ~ that flew everywhere with a mere breath :)
